- Mark Holdsworth: I needed Peter's taxi when my bike collapsed whilst on a week's cycling holiday early August 2013. I was in a group of 4 cyclists cycling to Bad Tolz. I cannot praise Peter enough. He is a jolly chap - very entertaining. Not only did Peter give me and my bike a lift to the camp site we were heading to, he also guided the other cyclists whilst en route. Now this is where this guy's generosity went beyond what is expected of a taxi driver. Peter took away my bike to have it fixed at nearby cycle shops. Early the next morning Peter dropped off his OWN mountain bike for me to use for the day so as not to disrupt my holiday. How amazing is that!?!? First thing on the following morning Peter turned up with my bike fully repaired. I think he said he needed to take it to more than one shop to have it repaired. Truly amazing. I tried to give Peter some money for all of his efforts. He wouldn't accept it! A big thank you Peter. It was a pleasure meeting you and these positive experiences make holidays more special.
